Four matching Relics
A full set changes more than appearance: four Relics from the same Eternal unlock that Eternal and an additional fifth ability. The set you assemble shapes what you can do in combat.
Mixing sets: shattered builds
You can combine Relics from different Eternal sets instead of completing one. This creates a shattered build. The existence of both options does not make either one universally stronger.
| Build approach | Defining choice |
|---|---|
| Eternal set | Complete four Relics from one Eternal |
| Shattered build | Mix Relics from different sets |
Cooldowns and old build videos
The 0.23.0c hotfix on October 16 states that copies of the same item share a cooldown. It also fixes some weapon-switch movement behaviour. A clip relying on duplicate items to bypass cooldowns may describe a patched interaction.
Choosing a first build
Use Training to learn what the equipment does before taking it into Spires or Ascension. Treat this as a way to become familiar with a loadout, rather than proof that it is the best build.
Is there a current tier list?
This guide explains the build system. It does not rank all Eternals or claim a strongest Early Access loadout. The complete Early Access lineup and balance can still change.
